MaxVideo Streaming
Maxwell Library can stream multimedia content required for use in the classroom, for online courses, and as an interactive tool to assist instruction.
Bridgewater State University instructors can request streaming content. Only films that are required for your course, and for which streaming rights are obtainable, may be made available.
More details
- Please allow two weeks for each request. Materials are digitized in real time (that is, it takes forty-five (45) minutes to digitize a title with a running time of forty-five (45) minutes.
- Streaming URLs will be emailed and then must be placed on Blackboard or other course management site.
- Personal videos may be made available for a maximum of ten (10) consecutive days and for one time only. Maxwell Library assumes no responsibility for personal property that is encoded for the MaxVideo Streaming system.
- Only materials required for your course, and for which <streaming rights are obtainable>, may be made available.
- MaxVideo Streaming does not place videos on Course Reserve. If you would like to place a DVD on course reserve, you may submit a request.
- DVDs for which we cannot obtain educational viewing rights may be played in the classroom once per course or placed on a reserve for in-library checkout.
